But it took several phone calls and discussions on the phone to try and establish where our taxi was? The taxi driver stated that the pick up point was in the orange car park, and not in the taxi rank. At no point was this told to us. Eventually the driver reluctantly came from the car park to find us, and then lead us back to his taxi which was parked in the orange car park. It was all very frustrating after a long journey, and I must admit i was quite angry. What should have been a straight forward pick up took some time"

They then sent me a text containing a link to watch the progress of the taxi on the app. Once opened, I see that they subcontracted the job to western cars, and the driver was 30 mins away. Driver was apologetic and was very quick to get me to the airport on time but Platinum cars lack of organisation made the journey much more stressful than it needed to be. "

Lucky I did not miss my train, otherwise I would have lost money too. Besides, the fare of £22 for a 7 minutes ride is exagerated! I paid 21.40 for a 30 minutes ride from the same address to Redhill hospital."

And asking him what post code when he eventually arrived late after phone calls etc from him, he had the wrong code for our address given to him. It's an appalling site therefore to use and I will encourage others not to use but go straight to Western cars where our driver came from. His instruction to collect us was also given to him at least 10 mins after he should have been picking us up. GET YOUR SITE SORTED!"

"We asked for a 16 seater minibus and 15 minutes before the 1st pick we were told they have no 16seater minibus so will send 2 8 seater minibuses. Although not really a major problem the 1st bus arrived 20 mins late and the main meeting point where we had 12 people to collect the other bus arrived 5 minutes early. We therefore sent half the group off in one bus and the rest had to wait for the other bus which was already running 20 mins late. "
